Festival Details:

Threshermen’s Reunion and Stampede contains “live” demonstrations of farming practices that took place at the turn of the century. Also, included are “Hands on” activities demonstrating, needlework, quilting, baking, soap making and other domestic crafts and techniques that were used by the settlers in the rural areas of Manitoba in the early days of our settlement. As the prairies were broke, equipment companies rose to the challenge and technology changed to meet the needs of the farmer for larger and more efficient engines to assist in the completion of the seasonal job of growing enough food and feed for themselves, their families and their livestock. Over 200 tractors, steam engines and pieces of equipment are in the collection and paraded daily to the delight of the spectators in the grandstand. Feild demonstrations of cuting grain with a binder, stooking the sheaves and then picking them up on horse drawn racks that are delivered to the threshing machine and then the sheaves are pitched into the threshing machine that separates the grain from the straw. The visitors are encouraged to try their hands at these activities.
There is also a Rodeo each day of the Reunion as well as live bands.

It is so much fun!! We go every year and bring stationary engines. It's a great time to get together with friends and unwind and relax. Lots of fresh air, lots to see too!

I've been going to the Threshermen's Reunion every summer since I was born. It's how I know another year's gone by- I'm back at Reunion.

There's something for everyone at this show, it's definitely worth the trip out to Austin!
